Why does my torch arrive empty?
Due to strict international shipping safety regulations, we are legally required to ship all torches EMPTY. There is no gas inside when you receive it. You must fill it with premium butane fuel before the ritual begins.
What kind of fuel do I need?
You need a canister of Premium Butane Fuel (filtered/refined butane is best to prevent clogging). You can find this at Amazon, local hardware stores (Home Depot/Lowe's), or smoke shops. Note: Do NOT use Propane or Zippo lighter fluid.
My torch won't ignite after filling. Is it broken?
Likely not! It is usually an "Air Lock" (trapped air).
Turn the flame dial to the lowest setting (-).
Use a tool to press the refill nozzle to release trapped air (listen for the hiss).
Refill with butane for 3-5 seconds. 4. Wait 2 minutes, then turn the dial up (+) and ignite.
Are the wood chips treated with chemicals?
Absolutely not. We use 100% Raw, Kiln-Dried Hardwood. While our kit's exterior has a premium finish, the burning area is pure wood to ensure only natural, aromatic smoke enters your drink.
How many cocktails does one tin of wood chips make?
A little goes a long way. Depending on your smoke preference, one tin typically lasts for 50-70 cocktails. With 4 tins in the kit, you are set for hundreds of pours.
Will the smoker fit my glass?
Our tapered design is engineered to fit openings between 2.5" to 3.5". This covers most standard Rocks glasses, Glencairn whisky glasses, and even cocktail shakers.
Do I need to replace the mesh filter?
Your kit comes with a durable 304 Stainless Steel filter designed to withstand over 300 uses. We also include extra replacement filters and a cleaning brush to keep your ritual flawless for years.
Do you offer Free Shipping?
Yes! We offer Free Standard Shipping on all orders over $60.00.
Where do you ship from and how long does it take?
We ship globally to bring the ritual to the world. Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. Standard shipping times vary by location (typically 7-10 business days for US/EU).
What is your Return Policy?
We want you to love the ritual. If you are not satisfied, you may return unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Contact us at info@smokedmixology.com to start the process.
I am buying this as a gift. Will the price be shown?
We specialize in gifting! Packing slips inside the box do not display prices. The "Moody Black" packaging is designed to be gift-ready right out of the shipping box.
